Alissa Mack is the wife of a wonderful husband, John and mom of two amazing daughters, Ambera and Rhanee, two respectable sons-in-law and a growing grandchild. Alissa was born in Butte, MT and graduated from Century High School in Bismarck before moving to Dickinson, ND.
Being a business owner prior to becoming a realtor in 2015 and a Broker Associate in 2020. Alissa's mission is to assist others; assist in buying a property for the lowest price and assist the sellers in getting the best price. Real estate is about being a negotiator for people wanting the best solution in price, repair and overall good deals. Everything really falls back on a solid foundation spiritually, the code of ethics, personally, and professionally.
The main way that Alissa continues to keep her foundation steadfast is to educate herself regularly through continuing education and books. Alissa has been on Continuing Education skills book of the month for 30 years. She makes sure she can offer the best of her abilities while growing and learning through the obstacles of life.
Alissa was voted Realtor Rookie of the Year by the Badlands Board of Realtors. This was a surprising honor as she began her Real Estate venture with votes from seasoned real estate agents backing her.
Alissa has always enjoyed the teamwork that is involved with the process of assisting others. She was given the opportunity to serve the community and participate on the Badland Board of Directors Executive Team as the Treasurer, Vice President, President Elect, President and past President. It has been a great opportunity to learn, grow and have a deeper understanding of real estate in many areas. Having the opportunity to serve as the members’ voice has helped to understand the obligations to stay educated and preserve EVERY individual right to business ownership, even when the opinions she has may differ. We are given a personal choice, and the members offered her the opportunity to speak on their behalf.
Real estate is new every day, every person brings a new beginning of a new learning opportunity. The journey, while not always fun, is always worth the effort to be the best in order to expand knowledge.
Alissa's mission is to help others become more successful in life - spiritually, personally, with relationships, and in business - a journey she has committed to since the same opportunity was offered to her through her mentor many years ago.
Fun facts about Alissa:
The current home she lives in had 3 offers in place when her husband and her viewed it, AND her husband requested to sleep on the decision before putting in an offer to purchase. Don’t think sleep really happened that evening, but I still live in the home.
In 2015, when she became licensed as a realtor, the real estate market crashed, and she worked hard and sold 7 manufactured homes to one client. Our broker, Shirley Dukart, nicknamed her the “Trailer Queen.” Unfortunately, it took hold for a couple of years, and it took some other sales and time to get that changed.
